Job description

The success of our SEREEL2 laser-based systems for simulating single-event effects (“SEE”) on electronic components means that we are seeking a project manager to design and deliver systems to customers. We are looking for a keen and motivated individual to manage and participate in all aspects of the manufacturing of these laser SEE systems, based upon our established core design. Key aspects of the role include quality, documentation, procurement and project management, so as to achieve full product compliance and delivery to budget and on time.

Travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning, supporting customer training in the use of the systems and providing after-sales support, are included in the scope of work.

Qualifications and experience

The key experience we require is in the field of optical design, particularly with IR lasers, along with a working knowledge of MATLAB. Candidates are likely to have a formal qualification to degree level in electronic engineering or a related topic. Practical experience of SEE radiation testing and the successful management of design and build projects of moderate complexity would be beneficial. You will be calm under pressure, possess good verbal and communication skills in English and have the determination to deliver.

Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a contributory pension (matched to 12%), life insurance, income protection, health care plans and other benefits.
