VACANCY FOR RADIATION TEST ENGINEER

Due to growing demand for our services, we are recruiting for a Radiation Test Engineer. The scope of the role is to design and carry out radiation testing experiments for customers, to analyse the results and to produce test reports, case studies and technical papers. We are seeking a keen and motivated individual to fill this position. Key requirements of the job include excellent practical measurement skills, the ability to select and assemble a suite of measuring instruments for a given test and an aptitude to write code to acquire data. Travel to a range of irradiation facilities is included in the scope of work.

A robust approach to quality, documentation and data fidelity is required, so as to achieve full compliance with the customers’ specifications and deliver to budget and on time.

Candidates are likely to have a formal qualification to degree level in electronic engineering or a related topic. However, practical experience of using measuring instruments, ideally including the VISA API and C++ coding under Windows, is a more important skill.

You will be calm under pressure, possess good verbal and communication skills in English and have the determination to succeed.
